January 2014 Nate Sherer Video was proud to be a part of Pittsburgh history in the making as we produced two videos as well as producing the event video to commemorate the induction of Rich Engler to the Pittsburgh Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.

January 2014 Nate Sherer Video attended "The Special Event" in Nashville to premiere a new cut of the video produced for Event Pros Take Action as they aided victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. The video can be seen here.

November 2013 Nate Sherer Video has covered the Medallion Ball for 20 years. We are incredibly proud to produce the video for the 50th Medallion Ball as well as a historical documentary for the St. Lucy's Auxiliary to the Blind, which make this great event possible year after year.

November 2013 For the second year in a row, Bill Chisnell Productions has hosted a Thanksgiving Feast for the underprivileged of Pittsburgh. Nate Sherer Video was honored once again to document this generous act of "Giving Thanks". This year's video can be seen here.

October 2013 Wendell August celebrated the reopening of their Grove City storefront and forge after a fire had consumed the original structure. Sherer Video produced the video for the opening ceremonies and a tour of the new facility with Governor Tom Corbett.

October 2013 The American Middle East Institute had an incredible 2013 summit conference with special guest Colin Powell. Nate Sherer Video was proud to cover this event once again.

July 2013 In July, Nate Sherer Video Productions sent producer Dane Kaczynski down to New Orleans to team up with Event Pros Take Action, a non-profit organization which dedicates itself to helping communities in need. His footage of this trip made it to the CBS national nightly news a month later.

May 2013 This May marks the 30th anniversary of our first wedding video. Thank you to over 2500 clients who have allowed us to share their special moments.

March 27, 2013 Nate Sherer Video is happy to announce our participation in the "Pittsburgh South Asian Bridal Show" where we are also the official videographer.

Spring 2013 This Spring we are honored to work with Charlie Batch and his wife Latasha on the promotional video for this year's "Panera Pup Walk" as well as a overview video of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.

November 23, 2012 Once again Nate Sherer Video was there to capture the Annual Medallion Ball sponsored by St. Lucy's Auxiliary to the Blind honoring young women who have given their time to aid their community through volunteer service.

November 14, 2012 Nate Sherer Video was privileged to be a part of this year's YWCA Racial Justice Awards dinner by producing a video on the life of long-time community activist Sarah Campbell, as well as covering the event.

October 26, 2012 We had a great time capturing Troy Polamalu's Polynesian Luau, a fundraising event benefitting a number of local charities.

July 23, 2011 Sherer Video had the privelege of producing the wedding video of Ben Roethlisberger and Ashley Harlan. 600 people attended this incredible event at the Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

August 2011 California became the 23rd state that Nate Sherer Video has had the opportunity to produce video in. In addition, our crew has recently traveled to Boston, New York City, and twice to Florida.

May 2009 Our crew has also had the pleasure of accompanying a client on an 8 day private Caribbean cruise in order to capture this significant life event.

In our History Sherer Video has been the recipient of 3 TELLY AWARDS for outstanding video achievement.

Who We Are

Nate Sherer Nate began his video production company in 1983 after recognizing the potential for growth in the video production business. Since then he has gone on to produce thousands of videos for his ever expanding client base. His production experience dealing with event video is unparalleled in the region, and he continues to instill his experience and vision in his team.

--The Team--

Stephen Brooks Originally from Peters Township PA, Stephen graduated from Calvin College in 2008 with a major in Mass Media Communications and a minor in Religion. Since his first shoot with Nate Sherer Video at the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant in 2010, he quickly became an integral part of the team beginning as a part-time videographer and now as a full-time producer. Stephen is also in charge of client relations, business networking, and corporate production planning. His favorite food is steak (with a good red wine) and his favorite shoot with the company was a wedding celebration in Jupiter, FL.

Dane Kaczynski Originally from Robinson Township PA, Dane graduated from Allegheny College in 2010 with a major in Communications: Visual Production and a minor in History. Beginning alongside Stephen at the Miss PA Pageant, Dane also became an indispensable part of the team as a producer, videographer, and editor. Aside from those duties he is also in charge of online media, website management, social networking, marketing, and analytics. His favorite food is Chicken Carbonara with crusty french bread and his favorite shoot with the company was a trip with "Event Pros Take Action" to New Orleans, where he was on location to video the organization helping hurricane victims move into new homes.
