5K Zombie Run
You can???t hide but you can run, run for your lives! Society for Animals in Distress is hosting their 1st Annual Zombie Run. The run is 5k course for adults and ?? a mile for children/adults. The objective is to keep away from the zombies walking the course and make it to finish line with all your lives(flags.)For details click here

3rd Annual Dog Walk
Grab your leash, your pups and maybe a doggie bag or two and come join us for our annual Dog walk on September 27th, 2014 at 11 am at Debyes Pet World. Registration is required. Walkers collect pledges (Top pledges win prizes!) and all proceeds go directly to service the animals at Society for Animals in Distress. The warm weather is here which means fleas and ticks are starting to prey on our furry loved ones! Remember to use proper flea and tick prevention methods to avoid any problems. Contact your veterinarian for more information ------------------------------------------- The Society for Animals in Distress has been providing the community of Elliot Lake with valuable Animal Welfare Services for over 17 years. We will endeavor to do so into the future to the best of our ability. You can find current pets who are up for adoption on our adoptions page, as well as a breakdown of prices, and applications for adoption.
