There are several advantages to being a small school, such as maintaining a positive atmosphere and providing quality service. We pride ourselves in providing a positive protected family like atmosphere for each student. We strive to build self-esteem and confidence in a student who has been unsuccessful academically and or socially in other schools. There is NO BULLYING at this school!
We have enjoyed thirty nine years of providing customized programs for students of all ages for our day school and night school. We offer a wide variety of customized programs to meet the needs of the student. Please see some examples below:
SACS accredited traditional college preparatory day school, serving grades 7-12, Monday - Thursday. Tuition includes books, catered lunch and no uniform expense, and payment plan. We participate in Student Scholarship Organization and Special Needs.
Small classes, emphasizing individualized attention through a 6:1 Student - Teacher Ratio.
Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) - NOT REQUIRED!
Night school classes for credit! This allows students who only need a few classes to graduate without having to attend a full day program at other schools. Students who have failed classes at their previous school can qualify for these classes. Students who may have failed classes at their school can take these classes, up their credits or get ahead during the Night school. Aug-May, Monday - Thursday from 4pm - 8pm.
We accept students who have not passed the GHSGT and can earn a high school diploma from ACDS.
Continue your education with our In Home Customized One on One Program for any grade. We provide a teacher to give live instruction at your home AM or PM classes.
Traveling Educational Program for models, athletes, and entertainers who cannot attend a traditional school due to pursuing a career.
Early Graduation for the appropriate student. Must meet our requirements.
Health Problems? If a student had to miss school for any reason, we can make up those classes in home or at our school.
Summer School individualized or group classes May - August. We offer all core curriculum subjects as well as foreign language and lab sciences.
We build: self-esteem, motivation, positive attitudes, repairing parent: child relationships, and student academic success ensuring social comfort at school. If your child is being bullied, not getting the academic attention he deserves due to a large population at his current school, we can help!
We have rolling admissions and accept students at any time. We can make up classes during the year. Summer school not required!

'Intelligence is sexy!' Teen heartthrob Cody Simpson graduates from Atlanta Country Day School at the top of his class despite his 'hectic lifestyle'.
Cody Simpson isn't just a handsome face. The 17-year-old boy wonder graduated from his Atlanta high school as Valedictorian on Friday, and he wanted the world to know. ACDS now has a Homework Connection forum for parents and students to utilize.
Approved!
Atlanta Country Day School has been approved by the Department of Homeland Security and the Immigration and Naturalization Service to issue I-20 visas to students from foreign countries who wish to go to school in Atlanta.
Special Needs Scholarship
We have been approved by the Georgia Department of Education as a participating school for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program.
